"Dynamics and Learning Strategies in University Students of the City of Posadas in their Academic Trajectories"

Some issues of major interest in the field of education have been the academic performance of students as well as student dropout rates in training courses at different levels. In order to tackle these issues, efforts have been made so as to boost teaching and learning strategies which foster young people’s academic education and continuity. This work seeks to identify and address alternative strategies that may be outside the formal curriculum, which will be referred to as "informal strategies." Such strategies may include matters such as the affective support provided by the students’ peers. The goal of this research is to learn about the informal learning dynamics and strategies used by university students in their academic courses. For this, an exploratory descriptive qualitative study will be carried out from an interpretive approach. It will be a methodological essay in order to retrieve, record and analyse paths, anecdotes and meaningful stories for students, seeking the subjective construction of their academic path as students. By means of interviews and a focus group, senior students attending courses at UCAMI will be surveyed in a convenience sampling.
